Candice R Withrow, MS in Comp Sci

Hello! I'm a data enthusiast still early in my career. Professionally, I have 1.5 years working with data for a small startup- providing data extraction, aggregation, and analytics for data related to residential solar energy, taking the product from a concept to design. I wore many hats in this role and learned a lot!

In my MS program, my thesis project explored the potential of Apache Spark for analyzing astronomical numerical data. I also have a degree/research experience in physics, and spent time studying engineering- I won't be content until I understand how everything works.

In my free time I enjoy art, hiking, and trying to scare my son.
